“RIDE INFO
The Tri-County Hill Hopper is a BP MS 150 Recommended Ride with three route options available: 20, 36 or 67 miles. Each route provides a hilly ride complemented by some flats. The ride starts at 9 am and the last route sweep is at 3 pm.
Routes
Participants can choose one of three hilly routes of approximately 20, 36 or 67 miles through the scenic Round Top area within the counties of Fayette, Colorado and Austin. Routes and distances may change somewhat from one year to the next due to road conditions or other considerations. NOTE: By skipping the “loop” on the 67 route you can make a 58 mile route.
Safety and Rules
All riders must wear approved helmets and follow the rules of the road. No headphones allowed. Rest stops will offer restroom facilities, refreshments, mechanical support, and minimal first aid. SAG vehicles will patrol the routes and offer transportation for riders and bicycles when needed. An emergency vehicle will be on call for the duration of the ride. All routes will be clearly marked with appropriate signage.
